This app is asking me for my personal details. Fuck that. I thought this whole Nostr thing was supposed to be private ?
Are you using Primal? If so then it's probably the Strike integration that allows you to set up a wallet. Separate thing from NOSTR as a protocol and the Twitter-like apps using it.
You can create a custodial Lightning wallets through other means and then add it to your profile.

Are any of those wallets good for privacy?
For the the record, NOSTR protocol and various apps not necessarily privacy-focused, so much as it is decentralized and censorship resistant, much like Bitcoin at the base layer. Privacy best obtained by other means, though there is a lot of ongoing development to enhance privacy by default.
The last one I tried that allows you set up Lightning wallet with minimal KYC (requires signing up with an email and then an SMS verification code) is Speed Wallet.
I'll see if there are any others I'm not thinking of. Lots of development in the space happening at a rapid pace trying to route around all these obstacles
