I don’t know why people are hyping it. It doesn’t do anything new except defend against very theoretical attacks against nip04. At least if we want to build privacy specs we can build on nip44 as a solid foundation.

That makes sense now! I guess people also haven’t read the audit and think that NIP-44 doesn’t leak anything and “super”private now! Which is not true. Way to go 🫡

As I understood it, NIP-44 lays the foundation for quantum resistance and PFS.
