I dont know if there has ever been a study carried out but I would guess there is a high correlation between atheism and how many tattoos one has.

Im an atheist that takes an interest in scriptures and have 0 tattoos
Whats your reasoning for not getting a tattoo?
I see 99.999% of tattoos as cliche. In many ways they are mental bindings of some event and these are all things people should be able to remember on their own cognition. I also dont buy the "I got this to honor
Disagree…
In my medical career I have met many patients with tattoos that have deep spiritual meaning.
Yes I agree some tattoos might not look very “godly” but don’t be fooled by what the physical eyes can see. Get to know the person and look into their heart with your spiritual eyes.
One of the best examples is a mom of three that asked me for medication to help her drink less over weekends to protect her children. Her own father and grandfather where alcoholics.
After a long and deep discussion she left and returned a few months later to show me this tattoo … she wanted to stand in the gap and be a gatekeeper for the next generation so her right inner forearm was the place to put the reminder.
She has never drunk since🙏🏼
Thanks for challenging me. I appreciate it. I am just curious as my personal experience has be different to this.
Completely understand brother!
Mostly a tattoo is a small window to a broken spirit, but sometimes to a restored/reborn one
You will probably be involved in someone’s life that will need that insight and compassion ❤️🩹
