Great question...๐ค๐ง๐
All kidding aside, time certainly *feels* faster to me as an aging adult, and I was halfway serious about it being faster, though the change be unmeasurable...
But, Brother, have you read Psalm 46 lately. Take a minute and read it now...
This is not some pretty poem; this is a poetic description of the future, of the Last Day Jesus spoke of in John 11, the day of his appearing in clouds as lightning โก as foretold in Matthew 24 and Revelation 1 and 1 Thessalonians 4. This is the day all we who believe are longing and waiting for, the day of our redemption.
I believe cataclysmic events--mountains falling, stars falling, earthquakes, etc. will all be part of the run-up to that final, dramatic appearance of Jesus in the heavens, when *every human eye* will see him and be left without any doubt that he is truly our Creator-God, King of kings and LORD of lords...
One study I did of the Psalms long ago persuaded me that fully half speak of Christ's return in one way or another...๐๐๐๐๐ฏ๐ฏโผ๏ธ๐ซ๐ช๐
Thanks for replying. Yeh we do live in interesting times indeed.
