I wouldn’t feel as bad paying this extortion fee if the roads weren’t in the worst possible condition I’ve ever seen them in.

I would rather pay to use the roads whenever I need to go somewhere. Like a toll road service. Makes more sense since I may not use the road as much as my neighbor, but we still pay the same amount for the same road.
