I like the idea of Chris Cornell more than the idea of Scott Weiland, but if I’m being honest with myself I think actually enjoy more stone temple pilot sings than soundgarden songs.

Unsure if I feel ashamed or not.

Thankfully I’ve never even allowed myself to be tempted to enjoy velvet revolver. My shamelessness does, luckily, have some limits.

“Doesn’t remind me” is one of my fav Cornell songs though. When I’m thinking about him that’s usually the song I throw on.

Cornell solo acoustic is fantastic. Weiland could never pull it off. T’would have been too shameful.

Agreed 100% 🤝. I could listen to Cornell acoustically cover children’s songs and be moved. His version of “nothing compares to u” is incomparable.
