Is it just me or is AI art losing popularity?

My feed used to be filled with random image generations, now I haven’t seen any of those in weeks.

I know that there are communities dedicated to creating AI art and there are also experiments to make it realistic. But it lost its appeal among the masses – at least this is my perception.
