Anyone know an alternative way to burn a .iso file to a thumb drive?

I'm on Xubuntu and I used etcher all the time but it won't work or my thumb drive won't show up?

Use popsicle from flathub.org which is available as a flatpak. Works very well.

Disk utility on gnome

Oh your thumb drive won't show up is another issue. I had that before, I never was able to fix it (typical Linux behavior)

I got it to show up but none of the burning software on linux will recognize it.

did you try ```dd```? always works for me
