Genuine question: what's to stop intelligence agencies from creating millions of fake accounts and flooding nostr with their propagandist bullshit like they do with Twitter?
You don’t have to follow them and there are no hidden algorithmic feeds to push their content on you.

The lack of hidden algorithms is a big deal.
💯 it’s been one of the most powerful shifts in my “social networking” experience.
Makes it a tad bit harder to find new interesting accounts to follow.
Also what stops the bot accounts from commenting on legit posts?
