So the translations in #amethyst are a real disaster. English may still work to some extent, but other languages are incredibly bad. The best example is portuguese. I always have auto-translation completely off because it does almost nothing.

good question. for me, everything is auto-translated when i log in again with the nsec. then i can press and hold on the sentence (lettering) to switch it off. All this for each individual language...but I can't switch it back on anywhere... 🤷♂️
Yep, in-device AI is not very good yet, but it helps if you don't speak the language at all. Like translating Japanese into portuguese or vice versa.
