What I dont get is how people can pretend that one day when the establishment decides that any and all no-kyc corn is illegitimate for interacting with regulated entities, they can just build their little citadels and still use btc.

So when your land mortgage or tax bill comes due. Either you use their tether coin OR use kyc corn (thus further draining the pool of private btc ownership).

Some principled people outright wont be allowed to use a tether coin.

Tethered coins will very likely tied directly to biometrics. And a lot of people dislike that.

Christians have a whole book in the bible basically warning against that very thing (in less technological terms of course).

Regardless of any privacy minded individuals religious beliefs, the threat is still there.

The private ownership of btc is trending toward zero, no matter how circular your endemic eonomy is, you still have to pay the state to not get shot for a plethora of reasons.

Taxes, utilities, land ownership, etc etc etc.
