Morning #coffeestr , breakfast and replanting seeds. Not sure what’s going on but will re seed and go from there. It’s hard to not panic when things don’t work out. Reminding myself that we have a great gardening community who always plants extras. #grownostr #homesteading #illinois

What happened to the first batch of seeds?
I have no clue! I’ve been doing this for years and have never had an issue of none of the seeds sprouting
Did you save seeds from last year or are these new? There has been much chatter amongst my gardening friends that seeds have been getting less and less viable. Even pre-pandemic. Everyone that I have talked to has noticed the same thing.
I heard that too so I mixed them up. Some are brand new, some are ones that have been solid every time we have even done them in the hydroponics. I’m trying not to go down the conspiracy rabbit hole of the seed dirt maybe? That’s also a brand new bag this year. Lots and lots of people I’ve see are having trouble it’s definitely nervewracking
