The Palestinian Media Forum sent a memo to international press unions highlighting Israel’s targeting of journalists in Gaza over the past year, calling for an end to the bloodshed.

The memo reported 176 journalists killed, 182 media offices destroyed, and 36 journalists detained during what it termed a year of genocide. The forum stressed the need to hold Israel accountable for violations of international laws.
