Also I don't know about no mercy. Jesus said not to fight violence with violence, sin with sin. I think that that arrogance can blind us even when we are on the whole correct. You can't get a good outcome from bad means, and all that. However, on the whole, I agree.

Yeah that's a tough one. The death penalty is something I would never advocate for, except as is necessary to stop more crime. It is up to nature to decide who lives and dies. Or at least, it is not up to me, on principle.
