Every time I see a 'rona "anti", i just shake my head.

Have those people never experienced the severeness of an illness in their entire life before and somehow avoided the sheer amount of people being chronically sick? Yeah, sure, the mask mandate was a little rushed and perhaps overkill to some degree - but I'd rather wear one and sanitize my hand than be responsible for someone experiencing their last minutes in a hospital without being allowed to see their closest ones due to that very illness.

This kinda stuff drives me up the wall, a lot. Maybe it is because of how I grew up among many dozen impaired people (walking, seeing, hearing, or even mentally or directly on their brain in the most literal sense!) but health and topics of that nature are sensitive to me.

Call me a traitor or whatever; but I believe in wanting to make sure the person, even if that is the very one calling me such, doesnt die because I was reckless.

Ain't how I roll.

I was very happy that face masks became socially acceptable during COVID. I kind of wish it was a little more sticky. But as someone with glasses, I hate wearing them. I still do it when I'm sick, though.

Oh MOOOOOOOOOOD xD

Glasses + Earbuds + Mask + Hat was a certified nightmare for me. xD

I needed my "blind cane" because of the constant fogging - not because i was actually blind, but i *became* blind XD aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa drove me nuts. That said, I still have a good stack of them left over from back then. Honestly doesnt hurt to have a few.

Because sometimes I wear a mask just because i dont want to be "seen"...and because i feel like my facial movements are weird af since i could never copy-learn them, since i couldnt really ever see them. x) So masks help here too!

Oh interesting! So vision impairment hurts face to face communication because you miss some of the facial expression cues.

Honestly, going anon in real life should be accepted to the point of being utterly unremarkable. We have a long way to go...
