Brief background. I grew up catholic. Altar boy, Catholic school etc… in general I had good interactions with Catholicism, but definitely was harmed by the classic Catholic guilt at home with family etc…

In middle school I went to a Lutheran school which was run by young earth creationists who in addition to being morons also happened to be hypocrites .

Really turned me off on religion in general and I decided that I was an agnostic atheist at 13 or 14 years old.

I basically stayed this way until I had children, which brought me around to believing in god again.
