i got paid out by nostr:npub1qtvl2em0llpnnllffhat8zltugwwz97x79gfmxfz4qk52n6zpk3qq87dze earlier today via bolt12. pretty elegant solution they have, and provides a competetive incentives over other miners that you can more easily participate in PPLNS schemes vs. FPPS as you can get paid out basically every block found via lightning.

ya, as of right now you need to run a core lightning node. i believe people are working on receiving options for LND nodes but nothing functional as far as i know.

Did they say what would happen if you didn’t have any inbound liquidity? Would the payment just bounce back and try again later?

if the payment is not completed it simply stays in your unpaid balance until you meet their on chain payout threshold
