The actual constellation is Cassiopeia, but the Andromeda Galaxy is in the frame, just a hazy ball straight up from that stump. It contains an estimated 300 Billion stars. A spiral galaxy much like our own. One of our few galactic neighbours visible with the naked eye from the northern hemisphere
