What good reasons are there to continue living in the US? The only one I can think of is family.

I just can’t shake the intuition that the U.S. is going to weaponize its powerful fiat / tha printer against its own people.

The empire will have to pull out of the rest of the world and they lose power and debt goes exponential. Typically the next step after reduction of empire-size is resource extraction and domination / capture of the empires own populace…

No certainties but I really feel something along those lines will emerge in the next 10 years. In the U.S. and other fading western nation states.

This has been happening for the past 20 years. Offshoring manufacturing, declining real wages, growing gap between haves/have nots. These trends have gone right along with the rise in discontentment with the status quo.

I agree. Trend has been there and now things are intensifying. To the point where my gut is saying “get out of the gulag before they finish building it.”

The US in particular (of “western” nation states) worries me bc it’s fiat still has so much power left and I think there is a high likelihood they weaponize it with greater ferocity in the final act of the empire.
