The US is angling to attack Europe, because Europe is weak. It has little to do with purity of free speech laws. With troops already on the continent, a military attack on Europe is entirely in scope, within 5 years or less.

The US cant attack china or russia, but it needs some war to rekindle its economy. EU makes sense. Major objectives can be met quickly, while on the ground urban warfare requires continuous investment.

America doesn't leave NATO, it subsumes it entirely. Europe needs to wake up, fast.
