Everyone keeps telling the same story about something, and because so many people believe it, that story becomes stronger than the truth.

It's not what's true that prevails.

It's not what most people believe that's automatically right.

But what works - what has consequences, what exerts power.

Usefulness beats objectivity.

I believe they're one and the same. The closer your worldview is to reality, the better decisions you can make the more successful you can become. The truth is more useful than lies to those that internalize the ideas.
