they have been having a lot of problems with the EU... annual fee goes up from 150 to 1000 USD in september i was emailed today

also they haven't been able to send out mastercards metal or plastic for months, even not able to make virtual ones

i dunno what the issue is but i fear that although i'm paid up until may or something that i may not be using them if the fee is that high

the service is awesome though

if the fomo hits and everyone wants to get on zero they are positioned ready to take a huge chunk of userbase, it's so handy when nobody takes sats, but around here half the places don't take cards either, so it could be interesting to see how this plays out if in the next two years lightning terminals sprout like mushrooms after rain
