I always thought that computers came with electronic fuel injection which was around 1985. I'm thinking more EMP situation. Regardless of ones thoughts on the possibility of that scenario. š

Youāre right. Fuel injection does use computer control but it doesnāt āhaveā to. Mercedes made a fuel injection pump that was mechanical.
Still, Iām worried about more egregious computer infestations that allow engines turning off, de/accelerating etc. by remote. FI computers from the late 1900ās arenāt all that susceptible.
