It is highly beneficial. It helps the liver remove toxins, it stimulates the production of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory enzymes, it prevents the spread of cancer, it can cause cell death in cancer cells, it improves cognitive function, it protects brain cells from damage, it reduces the risk of neurodegenerative diseases, and other things.

I assume most of the benefits are caused by the detoxification that it enables. There have been many studies on sulforaphane in animals and humans.
