Poker got me into Bitcoin.

A lot of people did. Online gambling using Bitcoin was big for a little while

I find it more fitting that the people who have been driven to the margins of money inherit the earth. There are a couple generations of bitcoiners for whom actual use cases of bitcoin are a super-not-soon future thing; content with the ideological use cases of buying bitcoin signing accessories.
