Here you go Mike. We have a bakery that makes them here. They are really good, but I’m not close enough to get them on a regular basis (probably a good thing).

Lidl bakery stuff (well, the ones in the bigger Lidls outside central London) aren’t too bad at all. I remember grabbing fresh, warm cookies in Glasgow after work for about £0.35 each (this was between 2016 and 2019, to be clear). Good value for money and nothing to scoff at.
For some reason though, Lidl bakery quality is much more consistent in the EU, even in Ireland. In the UK, it seems to depend entirely on the individual store.
My Scottish wife's sister lives in Kirkintilloch as did my brother in law until he moved down to Salisbury to be closer to work.
I've never ridden the Clockwork Orange, I didn't even know it existed until fairly recently 😂
The Glasgow subway is a small, cute egg. It works well and feels cosy, but honestly, I didn’t use it a lot while living there either, so you haven’t missed much :). The Riverside Transport Museum is definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been. I’m hard to impress, as you can tell, but it was impressive enough for me to want to come back not once, but twice (and I’m not talking about British Museum or Louvre-sized exhibitions).

This is likely a new thing as I remember using the Scottish flag before. Did Amethyst recently change fonts or something lime this?

Also, apparently Amethyst doesn't allow me to upload a mp4 file to Haven's Blossom server anymore. Video files aren't appearing in the file selection window.
Presumably that is the progeny of an illicit liaison between a croissant and doughnut? Sounds so wrong and yet I feel compelled to try one. I'd love to see how they would go down in France.
