Buckets are prepped:

1/3 sphagnum peat moss

1/3 vermiculite

1/3 perlite

Tomorrow I’ll start taking cuttings from the red mulberry tree out back.

We’ve got mature red and white mulberry trees in our yard. So delicious.

Do you just eat them or make anything?

I usually just eat them but in the future perhaps I’ll have enough to make mulberry preserves.

We’ve made syrup, liqueur, muffins, and pancakes. All amazing.

Our neighbor makes their own wine, so at some point we’ll collect enough to do a batch of homemade wine with them.
