Yes, I do. Brain overload is what is call it. In those times I feel that I should slow down, take a breath, say a prayer, and go back to the basics: Get out in nature, thank God for family, friends, life. Set your mind on peaceful, joyful times.

Now when those times come as I’m trying to sleep, and thoughts are bouncing around like a ping pong ball in my brain. I’ll get up, look at the wonder of the moon and stars, thank God for His guidance and focus on one thing. Might be reading a chapter of a book, reading a devotion, watching (even though it’s been said that watching tv or on phone at night isn’t good) a short clip of something, etc. before going back to sleep.

With all of the thoughts bouncing around, limiting my focus to one thing just usually seems to reset everything in my mind.

Mindfulness. I'll try that more often. Thank you.
