I get planned obsolesence is a thing but I'd hope that most purchases of non-consumable goods don't usually get followed up with near identical purchases soon afterward. Got some really top data analysts involved in designing those algorithms...

Soon enough ... when Nostr grows big, companies will monitor comments, and post ad replies accordingly. There will be marketing companies dedicated to doing this.
