My current software wishlist/dreamlist includes a #Guile rewrite of #Jellyfin, specifically the server part. The rewrite should maintain API-compatibility with the original project so as to be able to leverage its various clients.

Jellyfin is a great project in the media server space, but it's written in a language and framework (.NET) that makes it alien to me.
