I would rather hodl silver and gold if the world was to shut off because if the world shuts off paper money just becomes worthless pieces of paper. Sooo i understand what you are saying i think some silver and gold is a better backup

Sure thing, but I believe gold and silver would have a longer adoption period. Cash would be the immediate option, what could get you out of an emergency fast. Gold and silver would be good options for a longer time frame imo
