Am I misunderstanding, or are you saying that the US government is inefficient?

My takeaway from those metrics is that the government is stretched too thin to do a vigilant job targeting those that are really taking away from hard working people - the millionaires and billionaires that avoid their taxes and steal from the poor every year.
