Switched one week ago. Came from Oneplus Stock Android. I didn't expect that it would feel so "normal" - just like normal Android except some really nice features additionally. Its a bit reduced to things you really need but thats fine. Everything runs smoothly without bugs so far. Trust me, if you have not switched yet, switch now! Was also struggling but I wish I hadn't waste that time.

Have a pixel 7 pro otw, so i think i want to give the normal pixel experience a shot first

I can understand that. Especially where you pay mostly for the software by buying a Pixel. Personally I would do it the other way arround, trying Graphene and then Stock if you don't like Graphene. Stock Os is really develish regarding privacy even when it might look and feel a little bit nicer.
