Cbdcs could be the gateway drug. Entice people with the carrot and get the ball rolling.
If CBDC roll out would be interesting to see how it trades with bitcoin if possible
If I was trying to rule the world, that’s how I would do it. Got to incentivize it with a carrot. Opt in (free will) but if you do, then you get free ubi every month. Everyone will voluntarily adopt it
It would be Covid part 2 on who has strong enough will to resist like it was for vax.
You'll have people saying to sell your bitcoin and adopt cbdc to 'love thy neighbor' and to help out humanity and the evil capitalists and bitcoiners are to blame. Will be fun
That has been my theory as well. The best way to make people adopt it is through incentives. UBI from the CBDC would make sense as a game plan.
Another option would be to force people to use the CBDC to receive their pensions, pay for government papers like passports, ect.
The first method makes more sense for them.
