Closest burned down house to me is 6 blocks up.
1 block up from that there are no more houses on the block.
So hard to fathom. Ex-wildland firefighter here. Have see some very destructive fire but nothing anywhere near this. Lost my grandparents’ place to fire where I grew up. It sucks.
Weirdly, a decade later, everything looks the same except the new structures.
