Interestingly, it kinda shows that government-issued IDs, like passports, aren’t even necessary for identification anymore.

Platforms like Facebook and Twitter have enough data to verify who people are. They could probably issue passports themselves at this point.

I see these kinda surveillance rules as cracks in the system.
