Trying to set up my LN node, cant seem to send sats to it myself. Can someone please send this

have not, so i have to do that first??. Total newb
All good - yes, you need to develop channels; they’re agreements between nodes to maintain liquidity/flow between each other.
To send Sats from me to you, my node has to have a series of agreements/hops to get to your node. :)
Opening channels can be hard because many nodes set minimum channel girth - basically the minimum amount of bitcoin you will commit to the channel.
yer after all the research i did last few days taht makes sense, however how do i get sats in my wallet to then open up the chanel
So you’ll use funds in your on-chain wallet to open LN channels.
I have found it far easier to open channels using Zap.
