Before someone says Live Music will prevail, most artists are barely breaking even on the road. Unlesas you mean Taylor Swift being the only gig.

Production will become easier and more accessible. Few will find a way to create an audience and generate revenue. You’ll have a long tail of artists who will struggle.
Indeed, that’s what I thought… I’m actually reliant on music for my income as a sound engineer (mostly studio but some live).
I’m getting on a bit and my gut tells me to double down but the sense of insecurity is always front of mind.
At this point I really don’t know where I would pivot to with my skill set. I’m always up for learning new things but if the industry is toast, finding another industry that I can enter at a decent level is baffling to be honest.
