However, with the onset of summer, temperatures rise and settle unevenly. The Sarawat mountain range, which includes areas that soar high above the sea level and is situated in the southwest of Saudi Arabia, experiences a mild summer. Some cities within this range, like the city of Abha, are actually cold.
