Cake wallet knows it/have access to although they claim they don’t?

So what is the better wallet option? (Beside cold ones)

Then why does @openmonero say cake knows the key?

Because they suggest them to you and he means that you should be able to “dice” them yourself for it to be really self custodial?

Or how was it meant?

I don’t really recommend any wallet, but if you’re looking for something without bloat, you might want to check out monero-wallet-cli.
