I think by influence you could break that down even more. There's a lot of energies involved and researching what came before. I think that helps me in my art, in photography and in film. You can look at it as a way of life, your individuality is your art, but more specifically if I'm making a film or a great photo scene, I'm thinking what feeling I'm trying to get across. I research the entities from different mythologies, the gods the demons the nymphs the whatever that rule over this domain. The goddess of love, the god of thresholds, Valkyries of justice. You don't things like the day associated with them, the colors, the smells, you can really get a feel for and put your head into these other ideas and build the scene around that. What you wish to put it there should mean something right?
