how much of my time should i waste trying to make suggestions on the NIP repository when the admins of it are butthurt because i make sport out of catching them out being wrong?

my inclination is zero seconds

but this just comes up, anyway, because NIP-42 should specify that when NIP-11 relay information document says "auth-required": true in "limitation" that should mean the relay must send the auth request as soon as the socket connects

it's kinda important because then otherwise how does the client navigate this? does it pause waiting for the auth that isn't coming or does it dispatch an empty request to get a response? that seems overly complicated to me

Who controls NIP repository and how?

Agree that it should be on the spec and requiring auth on connection sounds reasonable. Is really annoying to deal with auth client side right now because each relay does its own thing.

Who have you pissed? lmao

I should spend some time looking at your suggestions on the NIPs repo, agree that NIP-42 is very important.

heh, i was recently on pablo's mute list, for one
