nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle would it be possible to add a feature in nostr:npub1ex7mdykw786qxvmtuls208uyxmn0hse95rfwsarvfde5yg6wy7jq6qvyt9 to split incoming payments to our strike.me lightning address so that a percentage of the payment is converted to USD and the rest of it remains bitcoin?

Because right now the only options in Strike are to receive those payments as 100% sats or 100% dollars. This would allow someone to immediately have some of those tips available as cash for spending and the rest saved in sats without the user having to initiate a buy or sell transaction. I'm thinking of scenarios like these live streaming v4v shows, where an artist may need some of it as cash to send to the bank for expenses, etc, but they want to save the rest as sats. Right now that has to be done manually by the user and they will have to deal with buy/selling bitcoin.

This is a good idea, right now the sats that strike is receiving seem to be displayed in dollars, not in Bitcoin.

There's a setting to change this. It applies only to passive payments received to your strike lightning address, not payments you create an invoice for in strike. Right now it either receives it as 100% dollars or 100% bitcoin. It would be useful to be able to split it up and receive part of each passive payment as dollars and part as bitcoin.

Here's the setting:

This honestly has never worked for me anyways.

I don’t think you can do the split currently, but I do think there is a setting somewhere in Strike that allows you to choose either USD or BTC.
