And this is probably the salty old Bitcoiner in me coming out, but I generally think that reliance on custodians breeds laziness in a sense. If Bitcoin is going to succeed, people need to learn to use the tools in a self-sovereign manner.

And I know not everyone is tech savvy and needs to take their own baby steps to get to that point where they are comfortable holdong their own keys. But I'll reiterate if you get too comfortable using a custodial solution and the environment turns extremely hostile, you're going to be fucked.
