The vegan diet is causing the most harm to the environment.

While I respect vegans as most switch to this diet for the right intention, there needs to be more awareness about the impact it has.

The irony is that many vegans switched for environmental and ethical reasons meanwhile think about the destruction that is now happening to the monoculture land and the bees.

There is a whole slew of downstream effects of this including on plant based and animal based food.

Here’s what would be at risk:

🚨 COMPLETELY DEPENDENT ON BEES (WOULD MOSTLY DISAPPEAR)

🍯 Honey – No bees, no honey!

🌰 Almonds – 100% reliant on bee pollination.

πŸ’ Cherries – Highly dependent on bees.

🫐 Blueberries – Nearly all commercial blueberries require bees.

πŸ₯‘ Avocados – Bees are the main pollinators.

πŸ₯’ Cucumbers – Relies heavily on bee pollination.

⚠️ SEVERLY IMPACTED (DRASTICALLY REDUCED)

🍎 Apples – Would become rare and expensive.

πŸ“ Strawberries – Pollination increases their size & quality.

🌽 Corn – While wind-pollinated, bees still enhance yield.

πŸ₯œ Cashews – Pollinated mostly by bees.

🌢️ Peppers & Chilies – Yield would drop significantly.

🍊 Oranges & Citrus – Many citrus fruits rely on bees for better fruit production.

πŸ₯© INDIRECT IMPACT ON MEAT & DAIRY

πŸ„ Beef & Dairy Products – Bees pollinate alfalfa & clover, which feed cows.

πŸ– Pork – Pigs eat crops that rely on bee pollination.

πŸ“ Chicken & Eggs – Chickens eat grains & plants bees help pollinate.

β˜•οΈFOODS THAT WOULD BECOME SCARCE

🍫 Chocolate (Cacao) – Bees help pollinate cacao trees.

β˜• Coffee – Bees increase coffee bean production.

πŸ₯œ Peanuts – Bees enhance yield.

πŸ‰ Watermelon – Needs strong pollination for fruit growth.

πŸ₯— WHAT’S LEFT WITHOUT BEES?

If bees disappeared, we’d be left with wind-pollinated crops like:

🌾 Wheat, Rice, Oats, & Barley (no bee pollination needed).

πŸ₯” Potatoes, Carrots, & Beets (root vegetables don’t rely on bees).

We must bring more awareness to this.
