"LE SENS DE LA VIE
Discussion
I am Catholic and I pray for your conversion, my friend, that one day you recognize Isa al-Masih as your Saviour.
Thank you...

π΄ Christians and Muslims both believe in Jesus, love him, and honor him.
π΅ They are, however, divided over the question of his divinity.
π΄ Fortunately, this difference can be resolved if we refer the question to both the Bible and the Quran, because, both the Bible and the Quran teach that Jesus is not God.
π The Bible Denies the Divinity of Jesus π
π΄ Jesus was a servant of God β
{ The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus.} (Acts 3:13). π
Jesus Christ Himself says that He is God:
βJesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me. If you had known me, you would without doubt have known my Father also: and from henceforth you shall know him, and you have seen him.
Philip saith to him: Lord, shew us the Father, and it is enough for us. Jesus saith to him: Have I been so long a time with you; and have you not known me?
Philip, he that seeth me seeth the Father also.
How sayest thou, shew us the Father?
Do you not believe, that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?
The words that I speak to you, I speak not of myself. But the Father who abideth in me, he doth the works.
Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?β β John 14:7-11
Matthew 19: 16β17
16 Now behold, one came and said to Him, βGood[d] Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?β
17 So He said to him, βWhy do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.β
Ten Commandments ππΌ
I am Yahweh your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me, and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
ββExodus 20:2-6 (WEB
And Jesus answered him, the first of all the commandments is,
{Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord, and you shall worship Him with all your strength and all your might and all your soul and all your heart.}
Mark 12:29
Jesus, peace be upon him, also replied to the devil who was trying to tempt him :
{ Get thee behind me, Satan; for it is written, Thou shall worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shall you serve.}
Matthew 4:10
Yes, there is ONE God. The Catholic Credo says it: βCredo in UNUM DEUM, Patrem omnipotentemβ, βI believe in ONE GOD, almighty Fatherβ. We say that every day, in every prayer, at every mass.
When Jesus says to the Jews: βBefore Abraham was, I AMβ, compare that to what God is telling to Moses in Exodus 3:14: βGod said to Moses: I AM WHO AM. He said: Thus shalt thou say to the children of Israel: HE WHO IS, hath sent me to you.β
Can you explain to me why Jesus speaks to the Jews like God spoke to Moses? And why the Jews tried to Stone Him to death just after He told that?
