A little knowledge is a dangerous thing πŸ˜… πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ 😭

My little knowledge was that I can sew knits with zigzag stitch and don’t need a serger.

But I now know I may need a special presser foot called a walking foot to sew them WELL.

And that maybe I should wait for my teacher… Sigh!

#sewing people, how bad of an idea would it be to pick these stitches out so I can redo them neater when I know what I’m doing?

Sewing knits is a NIGHTMARE! A walking foot helps, but I *think* a serger, once learned, is better. From what I've seen, a walking foot or double needle and elastic thread will work but a serger is optimal. My sister has one and said it's great. It should be ok to pick the stitches, I've picked many stitches and never noticed life changing stretching,

Also a long stitch will help with stretching.

Not a bad idea. Just time consuming. If you have the tools, skill, time, and will: go for it. Feels good to hack life.
