Discipleship doesn't have to be complicated! Read on if you want to simplify discipleship 👇

As I was praying and asking the Lord to help me reach people with the gospel I began creating this info graphic.

I've been complicating discipleship for too long, and I'm sure you have to.

If you notice the great commission is a chiasm.

A. I have all authority

B. Go therfore and make disciples, baptizing.

B. Teach them to obey all I commanded

A. I am with you always.

Our job is to fulfill parts B (Call sinners to pledge allegiance to Christ as King in baptism and teach them to obey Christ in all of life.)

The power and authority to fulfill these tasks is provided in parts A (His possessing of all authority, both spiritual and physical and His presence with us.)

So now the pathway for churches and Christians is clear.

1. Call all people to pledge allegiance to Christ in baptism.

Then,

2. Teach them to obey Him as King in all of life.

This will be the blueprint for how I lead the church from now on.
