Can I animate my #Nostr profile banner, like my Avatar? If so, what format is preferred for the banner (mp4, gif, webp, etc.), and what should the dimensions be? I tried looking around on the interwebs but found it a bit confusing and realized that not all clients have support for all formats, so I am looking for the official guidelines.

I'm more of a self hosting person to be honest and have been running webservers since the mid 90s. I only need to know what formats work with all/most clients for banners. It is sometimes hard to find this information with all the zapathon noise and AI ostrich art cluttering up my feed.

I noticed GIF format works for you so will stick to .gif in that case. MP4 and webp are nicer, better colors and better compression but GIF probably more universally accepted so GIF banner it is. Thanks!
