If you exclaim “My knee!” It sounds a lot like “money!” for what it’s worth. I hope the stings&aches subside quickly and your healing begins. 😔

Since you like rabbit holes and if haven’t been down this one yet
. Obviously consult your doctor, but I used to put DMSO on my injuries and it really seemed to help during track season. It’s a very tiny molecule, and I don’t know all the other side effects so DYOR. It’s debated pretty heavily, but remember in the 80’s or 90’s as a kid they had a 2 part 60 Minutes or 20/20 episode debating dangers and efficacy. I do find it fascinating that living cell cryogenics require it, it has many other scientific applications , and its ability to penetrate the cells is one of its most useful characteristics. This last point being a big concern since it can bring other toxins through your skin that wouldn’t normally have that ability. That’s why you’ll taste garlic shortly after applying it.

And my mom recommended it. Lol

Found the old 60 Minutes clip.

I was re-introduced to DMSO when a friend who works in cryopreservation of stem cells mentioned it when discussing SOPs. I asked about it and found they use a solution that is Plasmalyte and 10% DMSO solution. I believe that’s what keeps cells from rupturing when they’re frozen. Not sure if it really helps fix a bum knee, but there is some evidence that suggests it could help.
